Transcriptional regulator PINT87aa

Definition:

Enhances the binding of the PAF1 complex to target gene promoters and plays a role in negative regulation of transcription. May function as an anchor to keep the PAF1 complex on target gene promoters, sequentially pausing RNA polymerase II-induced mRNA elongation. Inhibits FOXM1-mediated transcription of PHB2.
