SnoRNA

Definition:

Small nucleolar RNA (snoRNA) is short non-protein-coding RNA that primarily guide chemical modifications of other RNA, including ribosomal RNA, transfer RNA, small nuclear RNA and so on. snoRNA mainly exerts tuning ribosomal and spliceosomal function by guiding ribose methylation and pseudouridylation at targeted nucleotide residues of ribosomal and small nuclear RNAs, respectively.
